Does Mesotherapy Beat Liposuction?

After Natural Body Sculpting

Mesotherapy is becoming increasingly common as a body sculpting procedure in North America. It’s been around in Europe for decades and has been actively used there for many years. Mesotherapy was developed in 1952 by a French Physician Named Dr. Michael Pistor.  It is a non-invasive type of procedure that is used to dissolve fat and bring about a more slimmer and beautiful body.  Mesotherapy is a non-surgical procedure that requires no time in the hospital or recovery time.  Mesotherapy is a lipoalternative to dissolve fat, smooth skin, eliminate cellulite and help in the reduction of weight, thus promoting an anti-aging effect on your body.  However, this doesn’t make it the only way to beat liposuction.

Mesotherapy uses injections of amino acids, holistic compounds and medications that are designed to melt body fat. 10 sessions are suggested with these lipoalternatives, but some patients actually notice results after just one session.  There is also a no-needle therapy for Mesotherapy for those wanting to avoid the pain of injections. This new technique is called Aquaphoesis.  It is a very low energy laser that is able to carry the medications into the tissue.  There are no needles, no bruising and no pain.  It is suggested that 15 sessions are necessary to complete the treatment or protocol.  Both of these alternatives have minor side effects that disappear in a few days.

The Difference Between Mesotherapy & Injection Lipolysis

Injection lipolysis can be both mesotherapy and Lipodissolve.  The terms are interchangeable.  Although they all have the same meanings: that of injections of amino acids, holistic compounds and medications, they are all very different.  Mesotherapy is more painful than Lipodissolve, so a new no needle therapy was developed and called Aquaphoesis.

Aquaphoesis is a very low energy laser that is able to carry the medications into the tissue.  There are no needles, no bruising and no pain.  It is suggested that 15 sessions are necessary to complete the treatment or protocol instead of 10 sessions required for the regular mesotherapy though.

Lipodissolve is a newer version achieving rave reviews from many as to its effectiveness and ease, thus being the choice of many.  One of these differences is the combination of ingredients that make up the inject-able solution. Injection lipolysis treatments all have at least one ingredient in common – phosphatidylcholine, or PPC. Often, other vitamins and minerals are used as well to encourage a quicker break down process of fat tissues.  It is sometimes considered a good liposuction alternative.

Body Contouring

Body contouring is a safe and effective way to get your body back in shape without the stress of a stringent exercise and diet program.  It can and will return your self confidence and help you discover who you use to be.  Body-contouring surgeries are used to handle complications after losing a large amount of weight quickly.  This may happen from bariatric surgery or other natural weight loss programs. This procedure is sometimes necessary to prevent health complications from the excess skin which may cause rashes and skin infections.

Body-contouring surgery may include: tummy tuck and the lifting and tightening of all skin that is sagging and loose.  The many areas that are treated include: breasts, thighs, arms and the lower body.  In our society of supermodels and Hollywood starlet bodies, women and men feel an ever-increasing amount of pressure to look very thin and toned. However, many of us simply do not have a lot of time to devote to exercise and weight loss programs, as a general rule.

Even though there are many risks and benefits involved, body contouring is quickly replacing more traditional exercise and diet programs. For many, diet and exercise alone are simply not enough to get rid of all of the excess skin after a quick and massive weight loss. Body contouring safely rids them of the skin with a minimal amount of recovery time.

Many cosmetic surgeons are devoting a large portion of their surgery time to body contouring as an answer to the skin problem. According to American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, in 2008 there were 10.2 million surgical and non-surgical procedures performed in the US.  The main procedures included: breast augmentation, breast reduction, liposplasty, eye lid surgery, rhinoplasty, abdominoplasty and gynecomastia for men.  There has been more than 67,000 body-contouring procedures done since 2007 (in excess of 100 pounds) and they are increasing every year.

The Scoop on Lipodissolve

Lipodissolve is a lipo alternative for removing fat.  It is a non-invasive procedure that is safer than liposuction and is an effective way to remove fat deposits and eliminate cellulite.  Lipodissolve has been widely used in Europe and in the recent years has been used more in North America.  This wonderful liposuction alternative  is not only a great alternative to plastic surgery, but it is one of the only proven ways of eliminating the fat forever, since it completely destroys the fat cells.  It should be noted that it does eliminate the fat as long at the person does not gain the weight back again.  This can be handled by eating a healthy diet and exercising.

How is Lipodissolve performed?

During the initial physical exam, all areas are photographed and marked.  As the results are gradual, the doctor will want to note the progress of the injections.  After the full program is explained to the patient, the injections may begin.  They are considerably less painful than mesotheraphy and is performed without anesthesia in most cases.

Beat liposuction with alternative to lipo treatments

Approximately 1.2 billion dollars is spent on liposuction each year and the amount is expected to rise with the desire to have the perfect body increases.  The desire to shape and sculpt our bodies is increasing daily and more and more are opting for the surgery opposed to changing their diet and lifestyle.

Some of the side effects of liposuction surgery are excessive bruising, swelling, post op discomfort (pain) and sometimes death.  Seven out of 1000 patients have complications from liposuction surgery and 20% of those are considered major. Besides the side effects of the surgery consider the cost involved. Liposuction surgery may cost from $2000-20,000, depending on how many areas need to be worked on.

With all these figures, you can plainly see why lipo alternatives are a hot topic now.  Instead of the two week recovery time which is normal for liposuction, lipoalternatives require very little recovery time and only minor side effects. Approximately 90% of all the liposuction procedures that are done are from women and more than 60,000 are from men.

Finding alternatives to liposuction

Liposuction was invented by Dr. Giorgio Fisher in 1974 and was performed first in France. Liposuction is the removal of fat cells through a stainless steel suction tube called a canula. Liposuction involves surgery and it is used to remove pockets of fat from areas such as the abdomen, hips, thighs and the upper arms.  The search for a safe, invasive form of liposuction was sought and today there are many alternatives to the original liposuction surgery.

The benefits of the lipo alternatives are many and they include: cost, little or no side effects, very effective and recovery time is minimal.  One of the alternatives to liposuction is the natural sculpting system.  The natural sculpting system, also called smart lipo, has mixed reviews.  The procedure involves drinking lots of water, a hot shower and the use of creams on the desired area. Tight bans are used to hold the cream in place and therefore tighten the skin overnight. It is recommended to do this procedure three times.

Why choose natural liposuction alternatives?

Liposuction without surgery is a less invasive, and often less costly, way of reshaping your body. There are different liposuction alternatives for lipo without surgery, some utilize injections of medicines and holistic compounds. There are many ways to achieve liposuction without surgery, including both diet and exercise. The body does have its own natural ability to reduce fatty tissue in certain areas. Some individuals have more success with this simple lipo without surgery than others, which is why some individuals may want to seek out options for liposuction without surgery. Natural alternatives to liposuction are becoming very popular because it is often easier on the body and the recovery time can be very short, as opposed to surgical liposuction. The natural sculpting system body wraps is one method that many people are seeking out, because of its low cost.

Some liposuction treatments are approved by the FDA, while others are not. If you are interested in a non-surgical liposuction treatment, you may want to research different ones and decide on the one that would work best for you. Some liposuction alternatives also work well on areas of cellulite. One main reason for choosing natural liposuction alternatives is simply to avoid the surgical liposuction procedure. This procedure can often be risky because the person is put under general anesthesia. Liposuction is also quite costly, while some liposuction alternatives are more affordable and some treatment centers offer payment plans. You may want to consider treatments that beat liposuction if you feel that diet and exercise may not be enough to reduce troublesome areas of fat and cellulite. If you are thinking no liposuction because of the costs or other reasons, definitely consider lipo without surgery.

Liposuction for men

Most cosmetic procedures have naturally been associated with women. Men, however, are showing increased interest in liposuction and other cosmetic procedures that sculpt the body. Many treatment centers now cater to both men and women, acknowledging the particular target areas that men in general want to sculpt and tone. The cost for male liposuction is a bit higher than the cost for liposuction for women. The main reason for that is that the fat that makes up the male physique is more fibrous than a woman’s fat. This makes it a bit more difficult to be removed. The target areas for men (chest, abdomen, love handles) also contain fat that is more fibrous. Men are also generally larger than women, so the treatment area is larger. Price varies on the treatment area and how much fat is removed.

Besides surgical liposuction, the liposuction without surgery options are also becoming very popular by men. One in particular is called Thermage, which is in demand by both men and women. Using a heated laser, it melts away fat and promotes tighter skin. Thermage is considered to be a pain-free option and can also be used as a facelift procedure. Natural alternatives to liposuction work well for removing excess fat, which is often found in the form of love handles. Lipo without surgery is a valid option for men as well as women and can help tone and tighten your skin. If you are a male interested in liposuction, consider the variety of lipo without surgery options on the market and choose one that fits your budget and personal needs.
